The Primary Role of the High Torque Fastener System is to remove the use of inserts and save cost by reducing inventory, labour and insertion costs. During the conversion process it is not unusual to be able to introduce further rationalisation from either screw element or materials being used
A typical Cost reduction application. The product is made of stainless steel so as well as removing the inserts (P.E.M) in this case the customer was also able to reduce material thickness from 1.2mm to 1.0mm.
